Our family is descendants of Abraham Rodrigues Brandon and his second wife Sarah Simpson Wood.
He was born in London in 1766, died in St. Michael, Barbados, on June 5, 1831. His first wife was Sarah Esther Lopez. Sarah Simpson Wood was born in St. Joseph, Barbados, in November, 1802, the daughter of John and Margaret Wood. She remarried Daniel Goody in London in 1833. Abraham Rodrigues Brandon was a wealthy merchant and plantation owner, and is buried in the Jewish cemetery in Bridgetown. Any information on the family would be very appreciated.
