Text: May have married a cousin. Lydia may be the daughter of Abram Monk and Abigail6 Taft (Job5, Silas4, Stephen3, Benjamin2, Robert1). Silas Taff, a farmer
and his family appear in the 1850 census of Lauramie Township (Tippecanoe Co) Ind. It is not known if Lydia Monk (ca. 1823- ) was related or not, but it seems plausible that she was a daughter of Abram and Abigail (Taft) Monk. May have been other children.
