Horace and his family have not been located in the 1870 census of Sullivan County, although family records indicate that his first two children were born there. Information on this family has been provided by an old typescript, of unknown provenance, held by Mr. Richard R. Fitch (103 Mollere Drive, Waveland, MS. 39576), a grandson of Emma Monk.
