Marriage intentions 18 Sep. 1794, at Peru, Mass., to Sarah Whitney (1773-1813) daughter of John and Mary (Cary/Cory) Whitney. The marriage intentions, only four days before the birth of their first child, describe Asa as "of Norway, Herkimer County, NY".
