| Kinship of William Darnall Ross |
A short file, posted in hopes that someone reviewing the data will spot a connection.William Darnall Ross was a cavalryman in the American Civil War and spent the latter half of the 19th century in the vicinity of Hanging Rock, Ohio. There he met and married his wife, had three children (sent out, it is reported, on their 21st birthdays with his best wishes and a continent in which to make a living), and eventually died; he is buried in the tiny Hanging Rock Cemetery. But of his father from Pennsylvania and mother from Maryland, nothing further is known with certainty.[NEWS! Big developments this line in November 2003!
