From The Calais Advertiser, 9 Mar 1892, p. 3: Died - Princeton, March 6, Sarah James, aged 78 years, and 6 months.
Sarah James, Gravestone, Calais Cemetery, Block 97, Lot 5, Sears Lane, Eastern Margin, Grave 8. Benjamin James is in Grave 7. Sarah's nephew, Everett Glidden (grave 1), his wife, Sarah Malloch (grave 2), and their children, Eddie (3), Herbert (4), Ella (5) and Lizzie (6) are also buried here, but the only stone is for Benjamin and Sarah. Inscription: "Benjamin F. James, 1801-1873, His Wife Sarah, 1807-1886 (sic)." The fairly large granite monument is leaning badly and no perpetual care is indicated.
