Death and wife info may possibly be incorrect. More research is needed w/this Jesse Patty as to his actual father/mother.

Jesse Patty is said to have been killed by bushwackers at his farm near Carrollton in Carroll Co., Arkansas. Descendents say that he was buried there on his farm. There is an old cemetery on the farm, but the stones are gone now. Records indicate that Jesse Patty was a member of Gaddy's Home Guards. In Apr. 1864 he was killed when this group encountered Confederate troups under Captain McFarland at Race Track Hollow in Carroll County. Jesse Patty was a leutenant.
