Robbie was born in Nashville TN. She was the fourth daughter of five girls. She and her sisters were very close until the end of their lives. She was a beautician in what was known as the Arcade in Nashville. She was 29 years old when she got married and was married for about nine years before she had her first child. Later on in life during the 1960's she went to work for a dentist and worked her way up to being a dental assistant until she retired.
She enjoyed her family and showered her grandchildren with love.
