Am searching for anyone who also descends from my 4th gr. grandfather, GEORGE CRAIN, who was born ca. 1775 and died in Georgia (possibly Meriwether Co.) ca. 1837. He was twice married. First wife was my ancestor, Amelia Tompkins, whom he married in 1799 in Oglethorpe Co., Ga. George Crain was a son of SPENCER CRAIN, who died ca. 1824 in Jasper County, Ga.
