1880 census states father born in Tennessee and mother in Ireland. John's daughter for sure. In 1900 there is a Mary Jane Henry in the census at age 66. I think this is her even thought she says her father was born in Ireland. 1910 census has father and mother correct. There are no children in the family in 1880. 1900 census states one child still alive.
From the pension application of Mary Jane Henry. A clerk was notified on 23 Mar 1911 that Mary Jane was dead. She would have died between the date the 1910 census was taken at this date in 1911.
Mary Jane died July 23, 1910. Information contained in a document from her Widow's Pension Application.
Mary is alone in the 1900 census, states she had one child and one child is still alive. No childen listed in the 1880 census. All three children alive in 1870.
