Pierre, Parent is native of the Mortagne-on-Gironde, in the old province of Saintonge, towards 1638. It is a commune in Charente-Maritime today,in the Saintes district, in the south-east of Royan, in France. PierreParent is the son d.André Parent and of Marie Coudrey or Coudré. As it is the habit, it engages for three years and arrives at Beauport towards 1650. Pierre cannot write,but signed by drawing a small knife. Pierre Relative, main butcher andJeanne Badeau, marry himself in Beauport, February 9 1654, in the house of Sieur Giffard. Jeanne Badeau, of the Small rock, in France, is the girl of the ancestor,Jacques Badeau who came, in New France, in 1647, with all her family towork as sharecropper of the Jesuits, in the Seigniory Our-Lady-of-Angels. The couple is very prolific, they have eighteen children, of which fifteen carried out twenty-twomarriages. Three of fourteen wire, have a descent which concerns us inthis genealogy. The ninth child, Michel Relative, born on December 21 1671, it marries on November 24 1692, in Beauport, Jeanne Chevalier, born on May 12 1673, girl of theancestor Rene Chevalier, originating in Anjou, and Jeanne Langlois.Michel/Jeanne couple, are born thirteen children, including seven wire. With the third generation, their son Étienne Relative, born in 1695, wife in 1719, Simone-Bores Arm-band.Their daughter Catherine Parent, born in 1733, wife in 1758, FrançoisGagnon, link which continues to the mother of my children. The second child of Pierre and Jeanne, Jean Relative, a triplet, born in 1674, in Beauport, it marrieson 4 February 1696 Marie-Francoise Bélanger, born on October 13 1680,girl of the ancestor Nicolas Bélanger, known as Catherine, and of Marie DeRainville. Jean is one of the three Parent triplets who survived until the adulthood. Moreover theymarried the same day, of which one marries also Bélanger, s.ur ofMarie-Francoise. From Marie-Francoise and Jean, fourteen children are born, including six wire. Their daughter Marie-Josephe Relative, born on January 6, 1710, wife in1734, Louis Bergevin, wire of Louis Bergevin and Marguerite Tessier. Linkwhich continues to my father. Finally, the third wire which binds us to the ancestor, it is Antoine Parent, born on September 3 1683, in Beauport. It marries onApril 6, 1708, with the Angel-Guard, Marie Barbe Trudel, born into 1689,girl of Nicolas Trudel and Letartre Barb. From the five children, two wire are born and Antoine Parent, marries on August 11, 1744, Marie Taillon. Their daughter,Archangel Relative, with the fourth generation, wife in 1783, RaphaëlMoquin, link which still continues to my father. The ancestor Pierre Parent is deceased Tuesday August 5 1698 and it is buried the following day with Beauport.
